Not Recommended Comics List Of 4 What Is Sentry Edition

1. Dark Avengers/Uncanny X-Men: Exodus (2009) has some nice art and that is about it. It is a confusing mess that does not stand well on its own. Especially when one factors in the three major problems: The initial scene is just an excuse to sell a tangentially related comic. Secondly there is the problem of the nebulously Sentry who has always been of better use as a gimmick than a character or active element in Marvel's universe. Finally there is the problem of using the concept of chemical castration and applying it to 'mutants' when everyone is basically a mutation of their parents' genetics.  Even if one is only meaning the Marvel version of super-powered mutation there is still the precedent of characters who are not classified as such having mutant kids.

2. Peter Parker, The Spectacular Spider-Man #28 from 1979 has a simpler problem of a deterioration in the quality of the line work in the latter half of the book.

3. Deadpool Pulp #1 from 2010 is just a forced attempt at fitting characters that don't suit in the noir genre into a noir secret agent story. Also there is a screw-up on the dialogue with Stryfe apparently arguing with himself instead of Cable Or J. Edgar Hoover.

4. SHI: Heaven & Earth #3 (1998) showcases an experimental style of comic making that fails in part because of how hard it is to understand the art's narrative. Even with what writing there is this comic is horribly executed. There is even severe inconsistency in both internal and external logic on top of the artistic inconsistencies.
