X-O Manowar Issue 39 Review With Spoilers

Warning Of Spoilers!

I have to say this is one time the regular cover is a necessity. It's epic nature sets up the scale for this story arc. As for the writing it is fierce and honest about the nature of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Not only that but the fact that characters act smart and react realistically shows that Robert Venditti is back to top form. On the page where the story title and the Vine ship appear Brian Reber shows his ability to help light a scene. Finally the interior art is strong in the designs and expressions.

Recommended for those new to Valiant, current readers of Valiant, and those who need something to  prove how bad PTSD needs to be treated.
