Not Recommended Comics Cage Heat Edition

1. The New Avengers: Luke Cage #1 (2010) The art looks horrible, and the version of North Philadelphia shown in flashbacks resembles what might have been a few decades prior versus anytime this century.

2. Guardians Of The Galaxy #9 (2016) has a time jump that comes out of nowhere and hurts the narrative. Also this entire story arc is looking like it will fail to work in a collected format due to how episodic it seems.

3. Sonic The Hedgehog #282 (2016) is not written in a way that is accessible to those who read this series sporadically. It also narratively does not have the ability to stand on its own, because it relies too much on events from previous issues.

4. The anime series Nana based off the manga. While it is mostly okay the constant shifts in perspective and time frames is extremely annoying to deal with. Also it repeats certain parts in multiple episodes in exactly the same way and that makes the series feel overly cheap narratively.
