In September 2009, Melissa was hired as a public relations coordinator following her graduation from Pacific Lutheran University. In The Name Of The Moon It Will Be Blogged Sailor Moon Super S Episode 5

Why are they still doing the Chibi-Usa romantically desires Mamoru bit? It is unneeded and disgusting! Another problem this episode features is the waste of the Pegasus power-up to defeat a monster balloon. Said creature could probably have been defeated just with all the knives and/or the Moon Tiara. Heck, they could have written Ami in and had her freeze it. The final major problem I had with it is that they did nothing with Kobayashi's attraction to Saori. While the minor problems were that Mamoru's friends hadn't been to his place and there's no answer on the hippo vs horse issue.

Overall this episode is mostly okay filler. However, it feels like it should was set before the previous episode where the Amazon Trio are threatened by their leader.

Valiant Universe Handbook 2016 Edition Review

This is a standard character/setting guide and thus only of real interest to die-hard fans. Though it may be of some interest to anyone wanting a quick way to learn about the Valiant Universe. The only flaws are that there are no surprises, repetitive info, and lastly time allotments for certain entries are wrong.

Angel & Faith Season 10 Issue 23 Review With Spoilers

Warning Of Spoilers!

The covers are both nicely designed and colored, but the variant has Illyria lacking her alien regality.   As for the interior art the panels create a nice and steady flowing pace. Though Drusilla could have shown a little more of a reaction when Archeus is touching her face. Overall the interiors and exteriors are great pieces of art with nice color selections. Finally the writing is only really flawed in this issue with how the summary page spoils the reason for the statue.

Warning Of possible Spoilers!

1. The first "Johnny Thunderbolt" story from Flash Comics #1 (January, 1940) is racist as can be and poorly written.

2. X-Treme X-Men #7.1 (2013) has Dazzler breaking up with someone while apparently not realizing that she was in her own universe. Also Cyclops (the older one) has a guest spot for no real reason.

3. Avengers Millennium #2 (2015) has the heroes looking emaciated in severals panels. Not to mention it is dull in how the story is told.

4. Avengers Millennium #3 (2015) is also dull in how the story is told. There is also a timestamp that makes no sense.

Warning Of Spoilers!

I kind of wanted to slap the character Uehara upside the head while ranting at him about how complimenting works. However, I will reserve that urge for the editor of this episode for the massive jump cut that occurs when three characters leave a shrine.

Other than those two points I loved everything else, but especially the following: The scene where Nao questions Uehara about his brother and Yuri. It just shows the trouble with long term unrequited love and having to accept that one has to move on. Something I have in my own way experienced. The scene where Nanako is an annoying teenage brat to Nao & Yuri. I find it amusing due to what they argue about and Uehara's initial reaction upon entering the scene. He has a pretty universal reaction to the situation that I would have also done.

Questions! Is Nao & Uehara's fridge designed poorly for the ice to have melted so fast or did the blackout start overnight? Can someone make the instrument…

In The Name Of The Moon It Will Be Blogged Sailor Moon Super S Episode 4

Hours later and I still can't believe the phrase "Jolly Molly" was said in the original English dub. However, I am more disturbed the initial villains the Sailors have faced have come across as rapists, and in Hawk's Eye case a serial killer with a mother fixation. Also I think Molly (Original English version of Naru) is played dumber and written poorly in comparison to Naru. Course so is Melvin/Umino. Especially with how they should be more paranoid by now regarding being possible targets of the enemies of the Sailor Guardians. Though to be fair this episode has leader of the villains not setting an example of either Hawk's Eye (who deserved at least being punished for talking back) or Tiger's Eye (who could have been killed). I mean what kind of cold-hearted fictional evil-doing leader fails to keep their underlings fearful of them?

Faith Volume 2 Issue 3 Review With Spoilers

Warning Of Spoilers!

Okay I double checked whether Chip Zdarsky's hair had some grey to its look and it does. Thus he and Nichelle Nichols are inaccurately depicted in this book. Though I don't think their de-aged depictions would be something they would complain about. However, the de-aging of Nichols will confuse those picking this issue as their first Valiant read on Faith's age.

Otherwise this issue is epic in every way that counts. I mean it has convention attending tips while fitting into the romance, comedy & superhero genres. Also People not recognizing Faith without her standard disguise is done in a believable way. Finally the art and coloring are practically masterful.

Past Aways Issue 7 Review With Spoilers

Warning Of Spoilers!

So this issue has a major reveal that makes Herb's little travelogue entries at the end feel kind of pointless and/or selfish. Plus Phil being found out for the murder by one of the other Pastaways is really the only other thing that happens. As for the art it could be more consistent regarding a certain female buttkicker's size. Other than the writing nitpicks and the artistic flaw this issue is okay enough to be recommended.

Faith Volume 2 Issue 2 Review

This would be a great issue overall but sadly the letterer and editing team left in repetitive lettering problems. However, the issue still succeeds in telling a cohesive and beautifully done narrative for the most part. We get Faith's social life increasing for the better and some veiled references to other parts of the superhero genre. The art is strong in the line work and consistent in the proportions. Finally the colors are both bright and complimentary to Marguerite and Pere's art styles.

Not Recommended Comics List Of 4 Hawkman Swipes Flash Gordon Edition

1. Avengers World #18 (2015) feels inaccessible in a "need to read a whole bunch of other issues" kind of way. Not to mention that Sunspot who has a lot of experience in being used and double-crossed fails to plan for yet another double-cross.

2. New Avengers #34.2 (2015) has the main and one-off characters displaying horrific and nonsensical nonverbal body language. Also the story has a weak plot, heroes being jerks for no reason, logic fails, and somewhat unrealistic dialogue.

3. New Avengers #31 (2015) has the same inaccessibility flaw as Avengers World #18 (2015).

4. The first Hawkman origin from Flash Comics #1 (January, 1940) feels and looks rushed in its various details. Example: Hawkman's helmet is constantly being redesigned from panel to panel. Also seems to have several possible art swipes from Flash Gordon stories published in that time period.

Omoikane and others please bless Good Morning Call Episode 4 Opinion Piece

Warning Of Spoilers!

I have a little bit of a problem with how the plot had to be contrived so that Daichi and Uehara could   have the "talk." That said I do like that they are both shown to take the mature route regarding Nao's wants and needs. Though speaking of her needs I hope they get rid of her job at the ramen shop soon. I want this cause I don't like the owner's kid, Kentaro's, treatment of Nao. Also I don't believe Kentaro's story about the bowls. However, I do think this job has taught Nao a life lesson or two.

Now as for the technical bits of this episode I liked they are as follows: The camera angles which show things like the apartment entrance (which has not been shown before). How the re-use of certain outfits (Nao's yellow sweater) along with the first time use of others (the red dress) creates a more realistic characterization. Whatever was done to create the visual effect to indicate the flashbacks. (I'm really unsure if …

Rai Issue 16 Review With Spoilers

Warning Of Spoilers!

This issue has one grammatical mistake that is partly the fault of Dave Lanphear, but it is mostly the fault of the editor and assistant editor. It was something that should have been easy to catch on a simple read through. However, the major problem with this story involves how it wraps back around to the start of Rai. In other words it literally ends at the beginning of issue 1. From my point-of-view this has felt like a lazy story arc in an otherwise epic series. (Leading credence to my theory that Matt Kindt may be facing some level of creative burnout.) Finally the art and colors are high enough quality to prevent this from being a total failure of sequential art. (Even though I am disturbed with how "Father" came across like a techno tentacle monster from a hentai.)

Bear in a lab coat that talks and is a scientist = instant recommended status based on insanity being dialed up to eleven. I am serious! Though there are things that could have been better. Such as the issue's narrative could have been a bit more evenly structured to create a more balanced pace. Also the Davey The Mackerel section had him changing heights when next to the idiot known as Dumpbucket. However, I still think the initial sentence I wrote is enough of a reason for others to at least check this issue out.

In The Name Of The Moon It Will Be Blogged Sailor Moon Super S Episode 3

I could be wrong but it seems likely that the flashes which occur during Sailor Moon's new attack might trigger epilepsy. Another problem I noticed was that the Sailor Guardians and Tuxedo Mask have been fully reduced to useless set pieces during the battle. This means I can now definitively state that Sailor Moon Crystal and the original manga have the more powerful and intelligent versions. Oh also that the animators better have run out of time and/or budget cause if not then they are lazy. Seriously, all the jump cuts made me go "What The Hell!"

I did prefer the Japanese dub versus the original English. Though that is only because it was slightly less insane with the mommy fixation dialogue, and it has more reasonable tones from the actors.

Questions! Why does Usagi's family not know about her being Sailor Moon when she has proof? It would keep them safer and make them prouder. Also what would be the harm?

Omoikane and others please bless Good Morning Call Episode 3 Opinion Piece

Warning Of Spoilers!

First off I think Daichi is pretty lacking in personality due to how he is written versus the actor's acting ability. So far it seems like he is given moments like the end of this episode to be anything. Heck, Yuichi has more personality in these first three episodes than Daichi. With that said I have to say that this episode comes off as a study in personalities.

One of the things I like about this episode are the moments where Yuri goes from regular talking to overexcited. Erika Mori, the actress who plays Yuri, really conveys emotional switches in a believable and fun way. I also like the chaotic moments in this episode, and the reasonable assumptions Nao thinks up about Yuri.

Questions! Can any of you readers out in there please leave a comment on: Whether I should spend this coming weekend finishing the rest of this opinion piece series? Also do you prefer short pieces like this or long ones like the first two in this series?

Aliens: Life And Death Issue 1 Review

This is more a story already in progress versus a first issue. Also while the art is pretty consistent it gets a little out of proportion on faces in a few spots. Though I will admit to liking the color palette,  believable dialogue, & cartoonish art style. Finally I think the cartoonish art style and lighter colors will disappoint fans of the franchise who love the horror part of it more than the science fiction.

I recommend it for fans of science fiction and light horror (Ex. horror comedies) versus Alien purists.

2. Doctor Who Event 2016 Supremacy Of The Cybermen #3 is an awesome issue in this epic event mini-series.

3. Wolverine And The X-Men #26 (2013) is interesting for how it reintroduces the character of Dog Logan. Also the flashbacks are very nicely designed, drawn and colored.

4. The Mighty Thor #11 (2016) is decent enough to be part of this ongoing series of recommendations mainly due to the plot twists.

Angel & Faith Season 10 Issue 22 Review With Spoilers

Warning Of Spoilers!

This was a great issue except for two factors: Angel's vamped smile being all canine teeth in at least one panel and the lack of explanation for Angel is still being in control. The first is easily forgiven as being a simple stylistic choice by the artist. While the second is just a weak element that hopefully shows growth on Angel's part or is something that will be explained later. Finally I really like the explanation for why Archeus is "all family togetherness" with his planning, and how close Drusilla looks to Juliet Landau's appearance in the 2nd season of Buffy The Vampire Slayer (after healing of course).

In The Name Of The Moon It Will Be Blogged Sailor Moon Super S Episode 2

(Sarcasm) Great! (Sarcasm) We got one episode where the characters are cool, intelligent, and insightful before the reverse happens. Also I am not a fan of Pegasus being used as a cheap gimmick to defeat villains, especially when the only powerful Sailors are the Moon royals. My final two complaints are Motoki's unhealthy relationship being praised and Tiger's Eye giving off rapist vibes. The Motoki situation could have been fixed in a lot of ways including Motoki leaving with his girlfriend. While Tiger's Eye could just die at this point like I thought might happen in this episode.

On the plus side I did like the different hair designs Usagi and Mamoru had during their phone call. Even though I think the dubs require one to understand a language during the Chibi-Usa sequence in the middle of said call. Cause the subtitles did nothing. Finally this episode is still better than the last few episodes of Sailor Moon S.

Not Recommended Comics List Of 4 Baby Battles Atom Edition

1. Real Heroes #1-3 of 4 (2014) is a horribly conceived and executed comic series that was never finished. For example the scripts are very insulting with the first definitely requiring a trigger warning for the visual and text references to the World Trade Center tragedy of 9/11/2001. Not to mention all the thinly veiled references/insults/casting of celebrities. Avoid at all costs!

2. Wolverine And The X-Men #36 too much style and practically no substance. Also certain jokes fall flat.

3. A+X #14 (2014) is more of an analysis of the superhero genre than a fictional narrative.

4. Uncanny X-Men #11 (2013) lessens the experienced tactician Cyclops to a man begging for the fighting to stop from something programed only to kill. Also it has too much exposition in the form of Scott's thoughts.

Aliens: Defiance Issue 4 Review With Spoilers

Warning Of Spoilers!

The characterization is weak in portraying intelligence in each character's reasons for their actions. Initially it is just the synthetic soldier wanting to bring a bit of alien corpse aboard the ship. Yet the with each succeeding page the characterization and story gets weaker. For example Zula injury occurring during her first moments in actual combat lessens her character's potential awesomeness and possible skill set. Another weak point in the script is the story title "Episode Four Casualities"failing to connect with anything but a brief element in the flashback. (Not to mention its font is so small as to be missed if one is not paying attention.) Finally Zula becomes increasing masculine as with each panel.

Recommended Comics List Of 4 Build-Up Edition

1. Captain Marvel #15 (2013) for a great tie-in story with good visual aesthetics that is able to stand by itself.

2. New Avengers #21 (2014) simply because it contains what is arguably the ultimate "Namor acting like a villain" moment.

3. Avengers Assemble #13 (2013) is just good enough to make the list. Though more for being decent and entertaining then anything else.

4. New Avengers #26 (2015) is slightly better than the 3rd entry in this edition, but just in the consistency of the visuals.

Not Recommended Comics List Of 4 Astonishingly Bad X-People Edition

1. Uncanny X-Men #32 (2015) simply features characters talking which then leads to nothing of note. Also a lot of inconsistencies in the art. An example being Havok's face.

2. Astonishing X-Men #53 (2012) has a poorly designed cover in terms of the text being crowded around the top portion. Also Wolverine has the over accelerated version of his healing factor going. Said version of his power fails to account for things like the metal poisoning the Adamantium would regularly cause. Not to mention he would probably be one big hairy tumor if he could heal at such a speed. Finally the overall story seems too mature, and possibly better suited to an original indie book than these corporate characters.

3. Astonishing X-Men #48 (2012) is too mature in the overall tone. Also the cover features the X-Men falling from nothing to a messy end for some of them. Said cover also has Wolverine's claws being too long and wide. Not to mention the cover has cases of broken back syndrome. Finally…

This issue's regular and variant covers both work in connecting to actual story elements while not actually spoiling anything. Kudos to Mike Norton, Michelle Madsen, and Scott Fischer for creating these great covers! Kudos also to Victor Gischler's scripting for its believable conversations between characters and the various plot twists. Finally I love the final panel with Angel having supposedly become Angelus mainly due to the coloring of his eyes and design of his vamped face. Impressive work!

Warning Of Spoilers!

Wow! There were vast differences in the end credit comparisons between the Live Action scenes and their manga sources. Especially interesting to me is how the positions seemed to be switched when Uehara is being pointed at by a shocked Marina in the apartment.

Another thing that amazes me is how the leader of the intelligent girls has yet to really prove her intellect. Yeah she is smart to avoid direct confrontation when catching Nao with Uehara, but that is so far the extent of it. Speaking of that scene I love that they briefly address stereotypes about sewing and girls. This really goes along with this episode's theme of how people are perceived in life by others. In turn that fits with the theme of how bullying is wrong, which can happen due to perceiving things in limited and wrongheaded ways.

Finally I love that: Nao has started arguing her points better then in the first episode. What I call the Yoko Ono fashion moment happened. How the first kiss…

Note: The beginning of the header for this opinion piece series is done in good humor and not meant to be disrespectful in the slightest. Now on with the opinions!
This episode provides a very accessible set-up for the school part of the series. Whether or not one has read the manga, seen the OVA, or attended only one type of school it is easy to relate too. Everyone has lived through at least one experience where social status held the highest importance.
What is not as accessible is the scam that causes Nao and Uehara to become roommates? It just seems a bit contrived in some ways that they would even move into a place before the scam is revealed. Though I do like how faithful it seems to be to the source material (Which it is compared to in the closing credits). Also lost in translation is the "moving in" gift Nao gets from her friends and how it might be funny. (Course that may just be me not getting that one.) …

Wrath Of The Eternal Warrior Issue 10 Review With Spoilers

Warning Of Spoilers!

This issue has only one small problem that I could see and it is found in the summary. It is a clunky bit in the concept recap that specifically has to do with how long the Eternal Warrior has been around.  The word "previous" or some other change would just work better than "past."

As for any other flaws I did not spot any. Mainly because of how much I was laughing at how Gilad is shown as an idiot savant. By that I mean he's a master of combat and not much else. He has had lifetimes to figure out the answers regarding his first born's kidnapping, or to at least become smarter, and he has neglected doing so. It provides a very interesting take on the old brain vs brawn trope. Especially with The Dying One having to rely on the person who's the valet not being disloyal. In conclusion this is arguably the best visual and dialogue based example of Gilad's personality so far.

The Witcher: Fox Children Issue 5 Review With Spoilers

Warning Of Spoilers!

The twist ending is brilliantly written and quite unexpected. Though I think from a visual and writing standpoint this is better enjoyed in trade. Speaking of the visuals they are still stylized and go well with the dialogue for this issue. However, the long montage before the end could have been a little shorter. Maybe if it had a longer farewell at the tavern, or wherever it was, that The Witcher and his sidekick parted ways with the Elf and his companion/love interest. That said the art during the latter half of this book is the best colored, especially during the montage and in the Tavern panels.

In conclusion a very enjoyable and accessible fantasy story in single issue and presumably collected edition. Very recommended for mature readers and those who love this franchise.

In The Name Of The Moon It Will Be Blogged Sailor Moon Super S Episode 1

I don't like that the opening title sequence shows the Sailor Guardians essentially fully nude. Yeah nothing is really visible, but still it seems inappropriate. Despite that annoyance I think the episode is way better than the final ones of the last season/series, or at least the Japanese dub is anyway. The original English dub is okay, but there are a lot of glaring changes that screw with an otherwise decent story. For example Chibi-Usa's added dialogue at the beginning is a little annoying. Also there is the problem of 'Shatner Pausing' line delivery by Mamoru's English voice actor.

Questions! Is there going to be more 'Shatner Pausing' in this last series/season of the original English dub? Why did they (English production team) change the earrings for the Amazon know as Tiger? How is he an Amazon? Is that monster winged eyeball in constant pain? Is the lead baddie male or female? Why was Tiger voiced in the English dub by someone who sounded like…

2. New Avengers #30 (2015) is epic in scope especially with how it retcons the Beyonder from the original Secret Wars. It also has excellent art and dialogue for this story within a story issue.

3. Amazing X-Men #16 (2015) good exposition in the narration and Cain Marko has an epic beard. Also good fight scenes.

4. Amazing X-Men #17 (2015) fun fight scenes and great plot twists. Though I mainly recommend it for the cover's design.

Doctor Who: The Blood Cell by James Goss Review With Spoilers

Warning Of Spoilers!
This is a very self-contained, in terms of locale, Doctor Who story. It has almost no Tardis. In fact this story is more about the "Governor/Narrator/Classified Because of Spoilers Identities" than about the Doctor, or Clara, or even the scenario. And this is refreshing due to how constant exposition in a story can/could be exhausting/annoying for readers in the wrong way. Pacing-wise this means the story has to be set-up essentially from the ground up. While this slows things down the later chapters  presumably provide reward enough for many readers to feel this is worth the cost. Finally while Daleks are the likely suspects they are not present in this story.

Malleable Comedy Heroics Plastic Man Episode 18 & 19 Opinion Piece

"The Crime Costume Caper" is way less contrived and inane than "The Royal Gargoyle Foil." At least the 18th episode on this DVD set is watchable whereas the misnomered 19th is just a bad Scooby-Doo story. Seriously there is no actual Gargoyle and nothing Royal about the last episode. Also I think the 19th is possibly the worst swiping of Scooby-Doo's tropes and cliches ever. Oh and Hula should be dead at the end of this last episode due to blood flow and the top half of him being shrunken by a ray.

Returning to talking about the 18th episode I have to say it is at least watchable for the questions it raises. Questions like: Why were there so few police doing crowd control during a major crime? What city was it set in? How come the plane leaves no wreckage? Why would a diamond exchange have such a small safe? What happened to cause that bystander in the crowd to have a light gray beard while keeping his brown hair everywhere else? Ninjak Issue 18 Review With Spoilers

Warning Of Spoilers!

The main story has a few flaws in the art. One flaw is Gilad looking old and angular in appearance and another is the faces are not always of a similar design. Though the least noticeable visual flaw is Gilad's disappearing/reappearing facial hair. Overall Khari Evans does a serviceable job on the main story's art.

As for the rest of the interior visual creatives (Andres, Chris, Ulises) they did good jobs on their respective parts. Though Andres could have been a bit less abrupt with the wind in "The Lost Files" section.

Finally the writing by Matt Kindt is uneven in Ninjak's characterization. While Matt Kindt gives a decent plot for both stories it feels like future Colin King and Gilad are entirely different people from the present incarnations. Yes, people change but the Eternal Warrior has always been shown as less chatty and Future Colin is too flamboyantly gay old man here.

My verdict: It was worth a single read at the least so…

X-O Manowar Issue 48 Review With Spoilers

Warning Of Spoilers!

I am recommending this issue because it is decent enough. However, I feel the art and writing could be better in various small ways. Such as the ending with Trill and the Vine's reappearance which lacked proper foreshadowing in the actual story. Also some of the colors are flat such as one panel showing Saana's right cheek. Finally Ninjak's hair looks in need of a wash and/or cut. Other than that it is worth a read.

Interview With Steve Bryant About His Upcoming Athena Voltaire Series

Rip:First off I have to ask what the new Athena Voltaire series is called and when we can expect the first issue?
Steve Bryant: It's called Athena Voltaire and the Volcano Goddess. Since it's the first series after the Athena Voltaire Compendium that Dark Horse collected (re-releasing from Action Lab this October), this miniseries shows us where the status quo is for Athena. We finally get to meet her father, a stage magician who's figured prominently in her backstory, plus there's a mystical artifact, a movie star, supernatural creatures, martial arts assassins, a power-crazed warlord, Nazis—y'know, the usual first-issue stuff!
Rip:Where does this new volume of Athena Voltaire fall in the established timeline of previous events?
Steve:  It takes up shortly after the events of The Immortal Power, the last story in the Compendium.

Sailor Moon S The Movie Opinion Piece

The horrors of this movie range from the non-humanoid Luna feeling sexual desire and romantic love for a human to Chibi-Usa's transformation practically being illegal lolli content. So yeah I have new puke worthy material in my memories...I am now going to have to fight off the urges to cry and/or puke for the rest of the month. Finally I did watch both of the original Japanese & English dubs and I think Tuxedo Mask's first speech only makes sense in the Japanese.

Note: I don't count this as in-canon at all primarily because of the plot.

Mae Issue 1 Review

The colors are amazing! However, I am not sure if this is due to Rose McClain assisting on them or if Gene Ha just wanted a fairytale color palette. Though I think the art and lettering look a little off. The former is only flawed in terms of the short jumps ahead in sequence and times when backgrounds are nonexistent. While the latter is a bit too larger in font and balloon size. Yet I will admit the latter problem is a bit on the nitpick level. Overall the art and lettering are fine in an astounding way. Finally I think this series has a great set-up and amazingly realistic dialogue and characterization for portal fiction.

Recommended Comics List Of 4 Really Well Edition

1. Injection Volume 2 (2016) showcases how complex and layered comics can get. However, this collected edition, and the rest of the series, is not for the squeamish. Finally the art is greatly enhanced by the color palette.

2. Avengers Assemble #20 (2013) is only a weak story in how it is not a real tie-in to the event it is supposed be part of, plus Wonder Man being labeled a pacifist. It is mostly a one and done about a civilian couple, and how violence is not necessarily a good first response in super incidents. Overall decent comic.

3. New Avengers #14 (2014) is recommended simply as an example of Jonathan Hickman, Simone Bianchi and the rest of this issue's creative team's skill level.

4. New Avengers #20 (2014) shows how to have one-off characters overpower main characters in a believable, and epic feeling, battle. Also it has an attention grabbing cover.

Recommended Comics List Of 4 X Equals C Edition

1. Justice League America #46 (1991) is a fun story that has the right amount of decompressed set-up for the rest of the arc. It also may have brought back the idea that superhero comics existed in the post-Crisis On Infinite Earths version of the DC Universe.

2. Groot #6 (2016) is a touching reunion story that also features a pretty nice retcon of Groot's origin. It also features some good jokes, cameos, art.

3. The Transformers #13 (1986) is a decent morale tale of losing one's morals and how that can affect how others view them.

4. Captain America #5 (2002) shows the kind of intellectual debate that should have happened in our world in the aftermath of 9/11/2001. Whether others agree or disagree with my interpretation of this comic or what is actually said in the story is up to them.

Recommended Comics List Of 4 Avenging The House Of Olsen Edition

1. Justice League InternationalAnnual #2 (1988) is a great comedy of errors Joker story. Definitely worth getting just for Batman's in character yet out of character reaction.

2. Captain America #9 (2003) is interesting in how uneven yet good the script is due to the two writers's styles.

3. The awesome fan conceived joke that is Avengers: Full House (2016) can be found on youtube. It combines the Full House theme song with clips from the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

4. Justice League America #49 (1991) is amusing and presents a good subtle tribute to Joe Simon and Jack Kirby.

In The Name Of The Moon It Will Be Blogged Sailor Moon S Episode 38

Minako acting horrible to Usagi in this episode made no sense to me. It sort of make me think of superhero vs superhero battles like Marvel's Civil War and Civil War 2 or DC's Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice in terms of stupidity. Seriously there is no reason for her to have a figurative bug up her butt about what Usagi is saying or doing.

Staying on the subject of nonsensical stupidity the original English dub definitely needed some changes for Tuxedo Mask's lines. This is due to him out-Shatnering Will Shatner (overextended pauses in dialogue delivery) in at least one line. Also he sounds creepy in the future flashback when he said "My Girl" to Chibi-Usa. There are also artistic mistakes like Ami missing her right foot in a scene and obvious animating shortcuts in the fight.

Finally the most idiotic things about this season/series were: The overpowering of the final monster, and how long it took to crawl to the power-up machine. Everyone but Sailor …

Not Recommended Comics List Of 4 Purple Dares Edition

1. Daredevil #88 from 1972 has a disconnect between the text and visuals. Said problem is mainly due to the overabundance of words, but the art also jumps forward in the sequence of actions.

2. The two parts of the Nightwing & Speedy feature "Rocks And Hard Places" from Action Comics Weekly #627 (1988). These two parts are mainly failures due to the lack of anything happening in both chapters. Also Nightwing and Speedy are beaten too easily and apparently let a woman die by drowning.

3. Dazzler #12 (1982) is flawed in the positioning of the a few letterboxes and word balloons. Also the script is severely flawed in several ways including Dazzler not using her mutant powers or intellect to save the day sooner.

4. The Cliff Cornwall feature originally printed in Flash Comics #1 (1940) and reprinted in Famous First Edition #F-8 (1975). Has a lot of good looking characters and zero idea of how planes work. Also very slapdash writing, especially in plot developments.
