Spell On Wheels Issue 4 Review

I am kind of hoping this limited series either gets an ongoing or the whole creative team gets another series at Dark Horse. Some reasons just from this issue are: Megan Levens's ability to be consistent in character proportions is superb with only one questionable panel featuring Claire. Not to mention Megan Levens creates expressions that mix perfectly with the unique way each character is written by Kate Leth. Speaking of Kate Leth she continues to write likable characters in an indie feeling mythic style. As for coloring, Marissa Louise provides a well-balanced color palette. While Nate Piekos chose the right amount of size for the more exaggerated bits of dialogue. Finally Jen Bartel did a beautiful cover for this issue that has to be seen to be believed.

   Extremely recommended!
