Recommended Comics List Of 4 Uncanny Superboy Edition

1. "Lex Luthor, Imp!" is the only properly written story to be found in Superboy #131 (1966). It follows Silver Age comic book logic and goofiness without feeling dumbed down.

2. The Uncanny X-Men #255 from 1989 is arguably one of the last interesting, and good, X-Men stories from Chris Claremont. At least from his longest run on the characters.

3. Alpha Flight #1 (2011) is a good opening issue that ties-in just enough into the 2011 comic event Fear Itself. It is also fairly accessible to those who are not well-versed in the team's history.

4. Marvel Two-In-One Annual #4 (1979) is slightly hokey and flawed, but on the whole is a good team-up story with dynamic art.
