In The Name Of The Moon It Will Be Blogged Sailor Moon Sailor Stars Episode 18

This episode's plot is interesting in how much potential for comedy and a break from the regular formula it could have been. However, both how the villains come into the picture and the way their "target" is introduced is just stupid. Yet what really galls me about this episode is how the overarching plot could have been moved forward with Seiya revealing he knows Sailor Moon's secret. That this episode repeatedly teases us with it with no followthrough is majorly irksome.

On the plus side I did like the quality of the animation and most of the writing (characterization and dialogue), even in-spite of how the ending is 1980s or 90s American sitcom.

Why does Luna and the rest of the characters think Usagi is interested in Seiya? They have seen the future after all and still remember Chibi-Usa so no one should be worried. Finally will they do something sooner rather than later about the Mamoru plot point? UGH!
