Secrets & Shadows (2012) Issue 1 Review

The cover by Dexter Wee is dynamic and suggests the interiors tell an epic tale. While the cover's colors are excellently chosen and applied well. Though the lettering is well-placed it is arguably relatively generic in terms of the font, with the exception of the title. The writing is strongest on characterization, and combines well with artist Marco Roblin's unique style to establish the universe. If there is one real problem it is that cross-hatching is sometimes overused on the buildings.

  Very Highly Recommended!
